Senior Barista

Planet Espresso is looking for baristas to join our team to work on our espresso bars. We have multiple machines, grinders, and stations where you will work alongside other baristas taking orders from customers, making coffee, and presenting it. These positions are for confident, experienced, and outgoing baristas with at least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced location. Understanding of specialty coffee and a passion for coffee is a must. Experience serving 250-350 coffees per day and 40 excellent coffees per hour during busy morning shifts is essential for this position. No dishes, no table service, just making great coffee with our team of baristas and keeping customers happy and the machines and espresso bar sparkling.Locations are the Planet Espresso bars at Grafton and/or Greenlane. Grafton location has flexible shifts on a changing roster from Monday to Sunday, 35-40 hours weekly, between 6 am and 6 pm, with mostly weekday shifts and some weekends. Greenlane hours are between 7 am and 4 pm, Monday to Friday, closed on weekends.If you have exceptional coffee and latte art skills and are passionate about coffee and awesome service, send your CV with PHOTOS of your coffee skills and reference contacts.
