They are a beloved brand in New Zealand and are one of New Zealand's fast-growing businesses.They have a fantastic team culture that they pride themselves on and are based in central Auckland.ABOUT THE ROLE:We are looking for a Senior Back-End Developer who can support key business projects to enable the growth and innovation of the company. They use all the latest technology - no legacy systems!As a Senior Back-End Developer, you'll have worked on a number of applications using a range of technologies and have a solid understanding of the latest MS stack in an Azure serverless cloud environment. You'll also remain agnostic about applying the right technology to solve problems and be comfortable learning new skills when required.This role will also be a key influencer of the overall development and technology strategy within the team, contributing, collaborating, and driving a number of technology decision areas related to security and architecture. In addition, this role involves a certain level of technical mentorship and leadership with the ability to own and drive delivery of key technology-related products through effective collaboration and leadership of other developers within the team.You will work in an agile environment and utilize best practices and modern development techniques. You'll have experience with modern testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and entity frameworks.Tech stack:Back-End: .NET/C#Front-End: JavaScript languages & frameworks (e.g. React / Redux / Typescript / Node)Cloud hosting: AzureQA Frameworks: Cucumber / Selenium / Cypress etcABOUT YOU:5+ years of experience delivering scalable software in a product-focused environment, preferably with a strong consumer-based audienceBack-End development capability with solid .NET/C# experienceKnowledge of working with databases and associated frameworks (e.g. Entity Framework)Knowledge of cloud hosting technologies & patterns (Azure / AWS)Experience of CI/CD & DevOps practices & tooling (TeamCity / Octopus or alternatives)Knowledge of (headless) CMS platforms and modern approaches to developing using themExperience of Agile delivery methodologiesNEXT STEPS:Please apply directly online or contact Claire at ****** for more information.
