Senior Audit Manager - Technology

Our client is a leading bank wishing to attract a Senior Audit Manager to their strong and mature audit team. In this critical role, you will have visibility across various stakeholders in the bank up to the GM level. This role is integral to the team and career progression would be available for the right candidate. About the role: You will be responsible for designing, delivering, managing and leading large scale complex assurance projects and reviews of complex control frameworks, systems policies, and procedures concerning technology audit portfolio engagements. You will contribute to the development of the annual audit plan and drive continuous improvements and efficiencies, as well as always ensure that all workplace policies and procedures are complied with to meet the changing landscape and legislative requirements. About you: Qualified as a Chartered Accountant (Australia & NZ) or CPA (Australia) or through the Institute of Internal Auditors Experience working with/in the banking or finance industry is essential Experience with payment platforms (SWIFT), gateway connectivity, hardware, infrastructure and architecture, essential Experience in leading complex large-scale audit projects Technology audit and risk management framework and principles experience, with a good knowledge of IT infrastructure, applications, agile and cybersecurity including operational risk and compliance Demonstrated experience in risk and control analysis of complex business areas Excellent verbal and written communication skills Leadership qualities to mentor other members of the team Demonstrated stakeholder engagement experience as well as strong negotiation and relationship skills including conflict management Should you be looking to join an organisation that values professional development, has a mature structure and supports flexibility with excellent employee benefits, please get in touch for a confidential discussion with Gary Bloxham on 09 974 9072 or " Click Apply ".
