Senior Audit Manager My Client is an established audit and accounting practice seeking an experienced Audit Manager or Senior Manager to lead the entire audit engagement from end to end. This is a permanent full-time position based at their Central Auckland offices.
The role
As Audit Manager you will manage the entire audit process from resource planning through to completion of audit engagements while ensuring best practice is embedded.
You will have the opportunity to take an active role in the business development and tendering process while managing a diverse client portfolio.
There will be other opportunities to be involved in management duties including staff performance and appraisals.
There will also be opportunities to engage in Advisory assignments, which could range from technical advisory pieces to due diligence and valuation projects.
Key requirements :
5-8 years' audit and assurance experience within an established practice
Prior experience of overseeing and managing staff on audit engagements
Past experience handling commercial, listed and for-profit clients
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
CA/CPA qualified, with plans to obtain a CPP in the near future
Proven people leadership skills
Ability to take ownership and work with minimal supervision
