You'll play a key role in supporting the Head of Internal Audit in executing key audit functions, including developing and reporting on a three-year Annual Audit Plan (AUP) to the Board and Executive Committees.
You'll independently lead internal audits, provide assurance on strategic initiatives, and deliver consulting services to assist management.
Working in line with International Internal Auditing Standards, you'll assess emerging risks, collaborate with external auditors, and play a vital role in strengthening the Internal Audit Quality Assurance Program.
Does this sound like you?
You're an experienced Internal Auditor with a background in banking or professional services, known for your analytical thinking and problem-solving expertise.
You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are quick to adapt to change.
You possess: Tertiary education with professional certifications such as CPA/CA/CIA preferred Extensive experience in risk-based internal auditing or related fields like external audit or risk management.
Sound knowledge of technology controls, including IT general controls and application controls.
Strong understanding of prudential regulations and consumer protection legislation (AML/CFT, FAA, CCCFA, Responsible Lending).
Proven ability to manage and lead audits or risk reviews of medium to high complexity.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experienced with driving change initiatives and effectively managing resistance.
