The Opportunity: Senior Audio Visual Technician We are looking for several high calibre people with a professional approach to their work. Our staff and management live and breathe both team values and the Company's success 24/7, we are looking for the right person to fit this brief. Based in Auckland, these are full-time roles at a Senior Level within our Company and will be primarily field based at major sporting, corporate and event activities around New Zealand. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work. The Role: What we expect from you: You will have proven workplace experience of no less than 3 years, preferably longer, in the installation, troubleshooting and day-to-day operation of LED and AV equipment. It is preferred that you have a background that shows experience in LED/AV products. Any certification you can provide will be a strong advantage for this opportunity. You will have a highly skilled computer background, including the ability to diagnose problems under the pressures involved in the operation and running of events to ensure the client's brief is met. You will have experience in diagnosing and repairing electronic equipment. This may be either regular scheduled maintenance or trouble-shooting problems on site at events. You will have an experienced background in rigging. We will provide any further training required to meet current standards. You will have no less than 3 years' proven experience and current licenses for vehicles up to and including Heavy Vehicles. You will have proven Forklift experience. You will always have a professional and friendly manner with your Managers and our Company's Team and be able to communicate clearly and professionally at all times. An excellent command of both verbal and written English. You must be able to work both autonomously and still have the ability to work in an existing team environment where there is a strong work ethic. Your Skills will include: Proven work history in the LED/AV industry, preferably exceeding 3 years. Proven experience in LED products is necessary. This must also include the ability to correctly diagnose faults in equipment and to accurately and professionally apply yourself to repairs. Proven work history with rigging. Current Drivers' License, preferably at a Heavy Vehicle level. Proven experience with Media Servers and Content Playback. We are offering a wage of $35.00 per hour. You must be New Zealand based and meet the appropriate requirements of New Zealand law to be considered for this position.
