About the firm
I am delighted to be working on behalf of an excellent firm that has a brilliant collaborative focus and a positive wider team environment. They are looking to bring on an experienced Relationship Property Senior Associate to their team on a 6-month contract remote role. This will offer you the chance to leverage your expertise in relationship property while also contributing to overlapping areas of law.
About the Role
I am seeking a Senior Associate with strong experience in Relationship Property on behalf of a brilliant client of mine. This role has the ability to be remote, offering flexibility and autonomy while working on complex and meaningful files.
While the primary focus will be on Relationship Property matters, this position will naturally involve collaboration in areas that intersect with RP, such as property division involving commercial interests, rural succession planning, and estate claims.
In this role, you will have the option to take on a more hands-on leadership position by mentoring and developing the Family Law team while focusing on the firm's Relationship Property matters. Should you choose this path, you would oversee the team's workflow and assume a greater mentoring and management role. This additional responsibility will be reflected in a higher remuneration package.
However, if you do not have prior management experience or prefer to focus solely on legal work, this is not a requirement for the position. The role is flexible and can be tailored to your expertise and career aspirations.
The role will include the protection of assets both prior to and during a relationship and the division of assets following separation. The work frequently includes complex property cases involving farms, trust property and companies.
