The opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for a senior associate with seven or more years' PQE to join our leading corporate and commercial team based in Wellington led by Rupert Rouch , Renee Stiles and Amy Ryburn .

Working primarily with Rupert, you will have responsibility for a wide range of corporate and commercial matters including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital raising, and general corporate advisory work. You will also play an important role in mentoring junior lawyers in the broader corporate and commercial team as well as cultivating key client relationships.

What matters to us
We value people who bring a different perspective, who are passionate, curious, and innovative. To be successful in this role, you would ideally bring:

seven or more years' post qualification experience in corporate and commercial law from a private practice or in-house legal environment – some experience in mergers and acquisitions will be necessary,
a proven ability to learn, interpret and apply complex concepts quickly and have an enthusiasm for new experiences and learning new skills,
demonstrable experience managing corporate transactions, anda team-focussed and collaborative approach to your work.
