EmailWelcome back Sign in to save Senior Analyst / Manager at Peninsula Credit .Direct message the job poster from Peninsula CreditPeninsula Credit is a New Zealand owned and operated private credit fund supporting mid-market and corporate New Zealand businesses.Peninsula Credit boasts limited partner investors across institutional and high-net worth investors.The fund supports event-driven transactions through the provision of tailored private loans to New Zealand businesses.The fund was founded by senior executives from New Zealand's largest trading bank, and the team boasts over 100 years' experience in New Zealand and international capital markets.The company will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to develop their analytical, corporate finance and networking skills within a close-knit, highly professional and experienced investment management team.About the roleThe role will comprise responsibilities on both sides of fund management, working with and reporting to investors to the fund, while working with borrowers from the fund, including transaction analysis, management, and execution.Peninsula Credit operates a small, highly collaborative and motivated team under a flat management structure. The role provides direct access to senior executives and management.The selected candidate will have the responsibility to manage and structure transactions and receive feedback, guidance, and training from highly experienced executives.The role will specifically comprise all aspects of transaction management:Transaction originationTransaction and stakeholder managementBusiness, industry and transaction analysis3-way Financial modelling and sensitivity analysisTransaction presentation at Investment Committee and transaction executionInvestor management responsibilities will include:Preparing fundraising material, information memorandums, prospectusesFund monitoring and performanceInvestor management and reportingIn all aspects the selected candidate will be offered training and opportunities to upskill in the role. This can include, with agreement, external study opportunities (CFA or similar).About youWe're looking to recruit a motivated and naturally curious Senior Analyst, Manager, or Senior Manager depending on the selected candidate's experience and skillset.The successful candidate will have a positive attitude who is willing to work in a fast-paced environment, is eager to learn, possesses strong communication skills, and is a problem solver / logical thinker.3-5 years' experience in a transaction/advisory team, investment banking, corporate/institutional banking or similar environment. Alternately, candidates with IT or engineering backgrounds will be considered.
