This role includes providing advice and support to applicants and delegated decision makers, and to conduct delegated decision making for the manufacture and import of hazardous substances, the import or release of new organisms; the reassessment of hazardous substances; the import and export of hazardous waste and ozone depleting substances; liaison with a range of stakeholders (including submitters, applicants and other government and international agencies) on statutory decision making.About the role | Mo te tungaWe are looking for an experienced, skilled, and enthusiastic toxicologist to help us evaluate applications for the import, manufacture, and reassessment of chemicals used in New Zealand, as well as providing support and expertise across the wider team and the EPA in carrying out our statutory functions.
