It is a Crown entity governed by a Minister-appointed Board. Our responsibilities are to protect and promote drinking water safety and related public health outcomes - we regulate drinking water suppliers on behalf of the public. We also have an oversight role in relation to the environmental performance of drinking water, wastewater and stormwater networks. Position Overview: Our Senior Advisor, Systems Reporting will support the delivery of the annual public performance reporting work programme. Key Responsibilities: Lead the writing of reports including the annual Network Environmental Performance Report and the Drinking Water Regulation Report. Interpret a diverse range of content, from technical information through to policy and regulatory material, and incorporate this material into a public-facing report that is read by a diverse range of audiences. Engage with, analyse and advise on developments including policy and sectoral changes that have a bearing on the reporting function. Key Qualifications: Excellent written skills, highly experienced with a diverse range of content. Strong experience working with subject matter experts and communicating key findings clearly. Knowledge and/or experience with a regulatory environment or the water sector or related field.
