With a focus on robust policy advice and Te Ao Maori critical analysis skills, this role is positioned within a team that takes pride in their work and values contributing to community, hapu, and Iwi aspirations.To be successful in this role, you will have:Capability and confidence within te reo Maori me ona tikangaStrong understanding of Te Tiriti O Waitangi and Maori-Crown relationshipsExperience in Te Tiriti o Waitangi based practiceA strong background in policy development and Te Ao Maori critical analysisExcellent oral and written communication, with proven experience writing for senior stakeholdersAbility to work with and develop services that support Maori, Pacific peoples, and other ethnic communitiesStrong relationship development skillsExperience in delivering programme/business improvement initiativesYou should also have:Experience in working with hapu, iwi, hapori Maori, and communitiesThe ability to plan, organise, and manage work effectively to meet multiple deadlinesThe ability to rapidly adapt in a fast-paced and changing environmentExperience in provision of advice to MinistersDIA offers opportunities to grow.
