We are looking for a Senior Advisor to join the Legal Aid Providers team at the Ministry of Justice National Office in Wellington.
The team is responsible for the quality assurance framework for lawyers delivering legal aid services across Aotearoa. The team leads the management and administration of provider approvals and contracts and is also responsible for monitoring and auditing the delivery of legal aid services.
Together with our colleagues across the wider Legal Aid Services business unit, we support people using or accessing the justice system.
You will be expected to lead and drive a workstream programme, provide coaching and mentoring to others in the team, write high-quality documents and lead projects as required.
There will be development opportunities for the right person to continue to build their knowledge and experience.

Experience working at Senior Advisor level or equivalentRelevant qualifications, knowledge, skills and experienceExcellent time management and prioritisation skillsExperience in relationship management and working with stakeholdersExcellent written and oral communication skillsTeam player attributes with the motivation to learn from othersProven experience in supporting team members to manage multiple prioritiesAn understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural issues and concerns, knowledge of tikanga Maori, and Pacific peoples' cultureMo matou / About us

Utu a-tau / Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $97,208 to $125,683 based on skills and experience.
