Permanent opportunity based in Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity We are seeking a Senior Advisor to join our dynamic Organisational Performance team at NZ Transport Agency - Waka Kotahi (NZTA). We're looking for someone with strong experience who can hit the ground running, bringing a solid understanding of statutory and government processes, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a passion for improving organisational performance. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining performance setting and monitoring tools, systems, and products that support our leadership and the wider organisation in delivering its strategy and core functions. You'll work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure NZTA meets its performance expectations, contributing to key accountability documents,monitoring and reporting products, and delivering meaningful insights on organisational performance. Ko koe tenei | About you To be successful in this role, you will bring: Previous experience in a planning and corporate reporting at an organisational or large group level. Understanding of and a genuine interest in public sector accountability and management practices, with the ability to implement new requirements. Previous experience developing tools and products to monitor and report performance. Natural curiosity, critical thinking skills and the ability to connect at all organisational levels and across different professional fields. A strong customer focus - and passion for working with others to solve complex problems in a fast-paced and changing environment. Highly effective written and oral presentation and communications skills. You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
