Permanent, Full Time North Shore Hospital Te Whatu Ora Waitemata Mo te turanga / About the role Are you an administrator with experience in leadership or looking for an opportunity to develop a career pathway into leadership? We have a prospect for an amazing person with customer centric skills and a passion for leadership as Senior Administrator to the Community Administration Team. This is an exciting, busy role that has a goal of delivering improved outcomes for our community, colleagues, and organisation, adapting in an environment of continual change while supporting the growth and development of our administration team who are at the heart of why we do what we do. If you are keen to contribute to the development of strategies, systems, and processes, provide administrative and operational support, and grow our most important resource, our people. You'll form an integral part of the Community administration team reporting to the Senior Manager and working closely with the Senior Leadership Team regarding service strategic development. The role will include: Responsibilities as Senior Administrator for the whole community team based across 6 sites Day to day troubleshooting and coordination Daily staff allocation and task management Operational support to the Clinical Nurse Managers and other clinicians within the community team Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure accurate and timely sharing of pertinent information Teamwork Staff development and training Cover administration duties including supporting a particular team during absences, including reception management From time to time, other duties relevant and appropriate to the role will be delegated to the Senior Administrator to be completed as specified Mo koe / About you The successful applicant will have: Ability to lead and work within complex systems and processes Exemplary interpersonal skills, including listening skills Demonstrates advanced problem-solving skills Adapts well to dynamic and changing needs Excellent written/documentation skills Excellent customer service skills Proven skills in all Windows-based applications An understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi and cultural awareness Enjoys a varied workload A 'whatever it takes' approach For more about the role, please click here for the position description.
