Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a superstar Senior Administrator, Operations Support on a permanent, full-time contract to join Te Purengi - Student Experience and Wellbeing directorate. This role reports to the Deputy Director. We are seeking an experienced senior level administrator who is comfortable supporting several leaders and their teams. We are looking for someone that will pitch in, no matter what the task.
You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative, business and systems support for the Manutaki - Director and a team of managers. The role will also lead continuous improvement initiatives that best support the leadership team and staff wellbeing.
Key responsibilities:
Meeting organisation and minute taking.
Providing efficient and accurate financial and human resources administration.
Process and procedures writing.
Developing and maintaining SharePoint sites.
Updating website content for the directorate.
You will:
Be a creative thinker that uses initiative to design efficient and effective systems and processes.
Be a thoughtful, positive-minded, and detail-focused Senior Administrator who has demonstrated experience in using systems similar to those used at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington (eg. Oracle-payroll and budget systems, Lightening-travel, and navigating electronic booking systems).
Be a whizz with Microsoft Office software and can take charge of all things administration so the team can focus on what they do best.
Support the delivery of workshops, events and staff training, ensuring all aspects from catering to technology run smoothly.
Readily exhibit initiative, good judgement and thrive working in a busy, dynamic, and complex environment.
Have the ability to think ahead, plan and network to get things done.
