Senior Accounts Payable Specialist (Temporary Role)
We're looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join a corporate team based on the Wellington city fringe. This is a temporary role for someone ready to hit the ground running and contribute immediately.
The Details:
Rate : $38 - $42 per hour (+ 8% holiday pay)
Location : Wellington, city fringe (northern)
Duration : 3-month temporary assignment with view to extend or go perm if you like it :)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full end-to-end accounts payable (checking rather than entering)
Reconcile GL ledgers, credit cards, and bank accounts
Credit card reconciliations
Resolve invoice issues and ensure accurate, timely payments
Work with internal teams and suppliers to address any discrepancies
Required Skills:
Intermediate Excel skills (including Pivot Tables and V-lookups)
Experience with GL Ledger reconciliations
Proven experience with Credit Card and Bank Reconciliations
Strong communication skills – ability to identify and address issues directly
