We have an exciting opportunity for an inquisitive and analytical Senior Accountant to join our business advisory team in Wanaka.

What Will Your Typical Week Look Like?
Working with an exciting and diverse portfolio of clients across a broad range of industries.
Consistently provide quality accountancy services with efficiency and accuracy.
Producing company and trust tax returns, including consolidated company tax returns for a wide range of large corporate clients.
Completing engagements involving multiple entities and various structures from beginning to end.
Assistance with compilation of special purpose financial statements for commercial groups.
Working on business advisory projects such as: budgets, cash-flows, KPI dashboards, management reporting, assisting with virtual CFO roles.
Working with a range of the top accounting software, helping clients to learn the full functionality of their system and get the most out of it for their business needs.
Completing engagements involving multiple entities and various structures from setup.

Let's Talk About You!
You are someone with: Previous business advisory accounting experience gained within public practice.
CA, CPA qualification or working towards this.
Analytical skills and an inquisitive mindset, with a desire to deeply understand our client's business, structure and challenges faced by them and demonstrating confidence in applying knowledge to routine matters.
Strong Excel skills and practical experience with cloud accounting products (i.e.
Xero, MYOB).
Genuine desire to be an enthusiastic and active contributor to our growing team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise your workload.
Fantastic people skills, an outgoing personality, and a passion for accounting and business advisory services.
