In this role you will play a key part in supporting senior leadership - Managers, and Partners - ensuring the successful delivery of a broad range of accounting responsibilities. These responsibilities include delivering high-quality service to clients, preparing financial statements and tax returns, and consolidation reporting. You will leverage your knowledge of NZ tax compliance and IFRS standards across various entity structures to supporta diverse client base. You will be proactive and adaptable in conducting research and offering informed advice to clients. This role is ideal for someone who is able to build strong rapport with clients and finds satisfaction in mentoring others to foster a collaborative team environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
Full CA / CPA membership and a tertiary business qualification
Experience in a chartered accounting environment
Ensure compliance with NZ tax and accounting regulations, maintaining high standards of ethical conduct and risk management.
Preparation of GST returns, budgets and cash-flows
Lead client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and retention by delivering timely, accurate financial and advisory services.
Significant experience using XPM, FYI Docs, Xero, MYOB AccountRight and Spotlight Reporting software would be ideal
Mentor and support junior team members, ensuring their professional development and the quality of their work.
Goodanalytical and interpretative skills and the ability to communicate effectively
Fantastic people skills, a positive manner andinitiative
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients
Advanced systems skills including knowledge of Xero accounting and MS Excel software
Deliver insightful business and tax advice to clients, helping them meet their financial goals and optimise their operations.
Analytical expertise and commercial sophistication
