Senior Accountant

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team immediately on a short-term fixed-term contract. This role is pivotal to maintaining the financial health of the organization and ensuring seamless operations during this contract period whilst they look to recruit the role on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the finance function, ensuring efficient workflows
Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
Manage ERP systems and processes, with preference for experience in Xero
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and policies

What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, with strong financial accounting and reporting skills
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Xero experience strongly preferred)
Strong understanding of month-end processes and financial reporting requirements
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred
