Senior Accountant  Great Opportunity for a Senior Accountant in Medium-Sized Firm This is a fantastic chance for a Senior Accountant to join a medium-sized accounting firm with 30+ staff. The team is highly experienced, with many members from mid-tier and Big 4 backgrounds, ensuring a high level of expertise. The client base is diverse and active, leaning on the team for sound advisory projects and technical compliance. Steady workflow in advisory and consulting projects constitutes a significant portion of the firm's activities. You will be responsible for managing and servicing your own client base, supported by experienced managers and partners. You can expect exposure to reviewing and upskilling in the areas of your professional skillset that interest you. They do not limit your growth to a specific band; instead, they provide opportunities to take on higher-level work and grow as an accountant, supported by a client base that demands sophisticated services. The Position This is a hands-on advisory position where you will have your own client portfolio and be expected to engage with them and manage the relationships. You'll have autonomy here, but support is also very accessible.  There's a big variety of clients from industries like technology (start-ups), financial services, construction, retail, HNWI, and investments with turnovers typically from $10M - $30M with larger clients above $100M. Your core advisory responsibilities would be budgeting and forecasting, strategy consulting/business planning, monthly management reporting, board reporting, and IFRS accounts. There is also compliance, but at a high level.  Your clients will lean on you for tax advice and structuring, and you'll have the support of the partners for anything tax-technical.  As you progress, you will be increasingly involved in reviewing and managing workflow as you move toward a manager position. Flexible working environment with WFH available for 2 days per week. Weekly and monthly training sessions with experienced staff to help you stay up to date with any software or tax updates, ensuring you can provide the best service to your clients.
