This is a varied role with the opportunity to work with a leading brand in the cosmetics and fragrance industry, where you will have professional growth and development opportunities and work within a collaborative and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:Accounts Payable and Receivable:Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.Statutory Accounting:Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including tax filings and other statutory requirements.Prepare and submit financial reports to regulatory authorities as required.Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring the company remains compliant.Month-End Responsibilities:Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, income statements, and other financial statements.Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actual and budgeted figures.SAP Experience:Utilize SAP for daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the SAP system.Provide training and support to other team members on SAP functionalities.SAP Integration:Manage Finance SAP integration projects to enhance and streamline accounting processes.Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure successful implementation and integration of SAP modules.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to SAP integration.Commercial Stakeholder Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and with the multinational partner.Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business initiatives and projects.Integration Support:Play a critical role in the financial integration between CS&Co and DKSH, ensuring alignment of financial practices and policies.Assist in the development and implementation of integration plans and timelines.Monitor and report on integration progress, identifying and addressing any issues or challenges.Financial Planning and Analysis:Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and the multinational partner.Internal Controls and Process Improvement:Implement and maintain effective internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.Team Leadership and Development:Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.Assist in the recruitment and training of new team members.Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the accounting team.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.CA or CPA qualification preferred.Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the FMCG industry.Proficiency in SAP and experience with SAP integration projects.Strong understanding of statutory accounting and compliance requirements.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.If you are excited about this challenging opportunity and eager to contribute to the growth and success of our business, please submit your application, including your CV and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and explaining why you believe you are the ideal candidate.
