Based in Central Wellington, you'll have easy access to public transport links and will be in close walking distance of all your favourite coffee spots!Your new roleWorking across a varied and interesting portfolio of clients, your day-to-day duties will look a bit like this:Prepare annual and interim financial statementsPrepare taxation returns of all types i.e. FBT and GST returns, and liaise with IRD when necessaryBuild strong and trusting relationships with your clients as necessaryConduct financial investigations when requiredProvide advice regarding financial accounts and tax on business structures and operationsAssist with the set-up and maintenance of various accounting systemsReview the income and expenditure of your clients' businessesProvide your clients with assurance of the accuracy of their financial accounts and compliance with statutory requirementsAny other tasks that may be required from time to time that are undertaken by a Chartered Accountancy PracticeWhat you'll need to succeedIn order to be considered for this Senior Accountant position, you must have had prior experience working within a Chartered Accountancy firm within New Zealand or else, within a nation with similar accounting standards.
