Senior Accountant - Fixed Term Contract

This organisation located in central Auckland is a well known facilities/property management company. Due to internal requirements they are seeking a versatile Senior Accountant to be part of their accounts team for 6-9 months. About the role This is a vital role for the organisation, would suit someone who is strategic and highly analytical . The role reports to the Financial Controller , you will be responsible for the effective financial control and evaluat ing commercial opportunities to increase yield and improve business. You will be responsible for: Leading the day-to-day financial operations Providing commercial acumen and support across all business units Ensur ing accurate and tim ely preparation of financial and management reporting Ensuring the company meets all compliance, tax, and other statutory requirements A bout you: Previous senior financial accounting experience within a large commercial environment – ideally 5+ years CA qualified or equivalent - a must Exceptional numerical, analytical, Power BI (desirable) and advanced Excel skills Strong work ethic and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Prior e xperience working within facility management or property would be advantageous , although not essential In return the Company offers: Competitive remuneration Work for an organisation that takes pride in its people and culture Great people and culture based around family values Free car parking space in town If you are immediately availablewith strong finance/accounting background, click the APPLY button now!
