Senior Accountant & Accounting Manager (Multiple Roles)

Our client is a leading Hawkes Bay Chartered Accountancy practice with a storied history and tenure within the region.The firm fosters an open, collaborative and fun working environment and is now recruiting for two positions at a Senior Accountant and Accounting Manager level respectively. The Senior Accountant role has an indicative salary range between 80-95k and the Accounting Manager position between 95-113k.Both positions are extremely hands-on and would involve a combination of the following:Management of workflow and review of client files.Preparation of financial statements, taxation returns, and providing technical accounting advice.Value-added work such as financial systems improvement work, management accounting, and ad-hoc project work.Assisting clients with general business requirements.Prior NZ chartered accountancy experience is highly sought after; however, you may also be in a commercial accounting role and looking to step back into the practice environment. Holding a CA accounting qualification would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite, and those that are yet to start or are partway through their CA journey will be considered.All applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.This is an exciting time to join this leading Hawkes Bay firm!
