Senior Account Manager • Auckland New Zealand As a Senior Account Manager at Media.Monks you will work with our stellar team to manage media campaigns for a portfolio of clients.
This is a consultative role advising clients on ways to harness different technology solutions, and optimise their digital media performance to drive long-term value and manage their media campaigns.
Technology is outpacing our clients' abilities to adopt and implement these tools so they look to our team for our strategic knowledge of the digital space coupled with our platform know-how to bring results.
THE DAY-TO-DAY Manage media campaigns through the full account management life cycle.
You will be the key player in kick off meetings, client relationship management, tech stack implementation, media optimisation, and quarterly business planning.
Develop and grow relationships with clients, Media.Monks' partners (such as Google, The Trade Desk, etc), agencies, and internal stakeholders, in order to ascertain business needs and craft the best strategic and tactical approach.
Advise clients on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and how this impacts them.
Partner with our sales team on proposal responses, technical demos, and marketing efforts.
Analysing data for reporting and optimising advertising campaigns.
Align client's needs with our solutions to help them achieve their goals and uncover opportunities to drive long term value.
Keep the pulse of the market and roll out processes & products that would add value to our clients.
Providing analysis, insight, and expertise for clients on our products and offerings.
Helping to strategise and improve our account management teams' processes and operations.
This person may be responsible for managing accounts across the APAC region.
Support the Team Lead in mentoring and assisting the Associate Account Manager and Account Manager.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE 4+ years of digital advertising account management and/or media planning experience, whether at a publisher, agency, trading desk, technology company, or other.
Hands-on experience with ad buying tools such as Google Marketing Platforms (DV360, CM360, SA360), The Trade Desk, Meta, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Tiktok, Google Ads, Twitter, etc.
Commercial acumen including pricing, budgeting, negotiation, and revenue growth.
Assess their ability in identifying and capitalising on business opportunities, managing financial risks, and aligning client needs with Media.Monks' offerings.
Strong data analysis abilities (v-lookups, pivot tables and similar).
Basic understanding of data platforms and concepts would be preferred but is not required.
Hands-on experience with analytics tools or cloud based software such as Google Analytics, Firebase, Adobe Analytics, Google Cloud Platform or similar would be highly regarded but is not required.
Excellent consultative approach when developing and managing business relationships.
Innovative thinker who brings ideas and strategies to life.
Familiarity with planning tools (Roy Morgan, GWI, Pathmatics, Nielsen, etc) would be preferred but is not required.
An understanding of the broader martech/adtech ecosystem would be preferred but is not required.
Flexible, versatile and driven to obtain new skills and scale knowledge to take on uncharted territory.
Basic understanding of Project Management theory would be preferred but is not required.
Able to own client relationships with support from Team Lead when needed.
A positive presence in the office, fostering a welcoming atmosphere and engaging in internal discussions.
