Security Technicans Required

We are looking for a qualified Security Technician for our Auckland based Security Company. As part of your role, you will be travelling withing Auckland and the Waikato region to complete the duties in your job description. This is a full-time permanent position and will consist of drafting and interpreting plans for electronic security system installation in residential and commercial properties and executing the installations as required. To be considered for this position you'll have at least sufficient experience or knowledge to allow you to complete the tasks in this role. You should have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and be able to work independently to reach goals. You must be able to multitask and will be able to complete work in set time frames. You will also need to complete NZQA certifications approved by the New Zealand Security Association within your role and therefore, we require that you be able and willing to complete a course of study as part of your role. You must show diligence and a willingness to learn and be adaptable in your work. Due to the nature of this role, you will also have a clean Police record and a clean class 1 Driver's license. You will be also expected to perform tasks such as drafting and interpreting security system plans, installing/repairing/ testing and maintaining security equipment and systems, programming (hardware and software)/configuring security equipment, arranging for the purchasing of security equipment and software, recording data and ensuring that all health and safety rules and regulations are followed. We will be able to offer at least 30 hours of work per week. The minimum wage for this position is $29.66 per hour and the maximum wage for this position is $35 per hour.
