Key Responsibilities Deliver first line security and resilience services in NZ and offshore Gain exposure to key security systems and practices Contribute to Aotearoa's safety at home and offshore Coordinate the Ministry's clearance processes and access card processes Manage the security or resilience mailbox, ensuring responses are appropriate and timely Coordinate reporting, risk assessments and key operational documents Support the stand-up of the Emergency Coordination Centre and undertake logistics in the early stages of a crisis Assist with maintenance of key security systems and practices in NZ The appointment range is $63,542 to $81,193 total remuneration, inclusive of our 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution. The midpoint is $70,602. We expect to appoint depending on your level of experience. Who are we looking for? We'd like to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience: Experience as a coordinator or administrator scheduling and coordinating a range of interconnected activities Demonstrated planning and organisational skills Confidence with Excel Passionate about helping people stay safe and an interest in a career in security, continuity and risk management Strong relationship management experience Proven integrity, discretion and an ethical approach Ability to set and deliver high standard work Good understanding of tikanga (Maori customs and protocols), with the ability to weave te ao Maori (the Maori worldview) into your work.
