He Korero mo te turanga - About the Role
The security service at Whakatane Hospital is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. The security service is seeking to employ casual security officers to cover when required.
Applicants must have a high level of personal presentation, security and customer service experience to join our tight-knit and highly regarded team. This role is covered by the Etú Service Food Workers Union Multi-Employer Collective Agreement. Hourly rate for this position is from $24.00 up to $28.68.
He korero mou - About You
Preference is for you to have a minimum NZQA Level 3 security qualification or evidence of working towards obtaining this qualification. In addition to this, you will have excellent written skills. You will be expected to make difficult decisions on the spot, at times work in isolation and as a team member, have self-motivation and be medically and physically fit. A clean full NZ driver's licence is essential.
