About the role: Become part of the dedicated security team at the prestigious Park Hyatt Auckland.
As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees and property.
This is a full-time position based in the heart of Auckland CBD.
What you'll be doing: Patrolling the hotel premises to monitor activity and report any suspicious or hazardous situations Responding promptly and appropriately to emergency situations and security incidents Monitoring and operating security systems and equipment, including CCTV cameras and access control Providing a warm and professional welcome to guests, ensuring they feel safe and secure Maintaining detailed security logs and incident reports Collaborating with other hotel departments to enhance overall security and guest experience Adhering to all relevant health, safety and security policies and procedures What we're looking for: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a security or customer service role Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Familiarity with security equipment and surveillance systems High school diploma or equivalent certificates in the field of security (Fire Warden's certificate etc.)
along with suitable first aid qualification from a recognized national body.
