A bit about the role:
Our Security Officers are a vital part of our team providing front-line Security services to protect the safety and security of our customers, staff, and property. They're a dedicated and hardworking team who are often the first point of call for any issues that arise. As well as ad-hoc requests, they'll have a rotation of daily tasks to get involved in providing heaps of variety on the job.
This is a full-time role, working a mix of day and overnight shifts on a rotating roster - weekend availability is required for this position. Preference will be given to candidates who are flexible in their availability.
A bit about you:
Being a customer service role, you'll be someone who loves dealing with customers and you'll have a positive attitude to boot. You'll enjoy putting in the effort with your appearance, always looking your best, and you'll be happy standing for long periods of time. Obviously, you'll be friendly and approachable, but you'll also be professional and able to quickly think on your feet where needed. You'll love talking to our customers and have great communication skills both written and verbal, and you know the importance of being a team player.
The must-haves:
Firstly, you'll need to be at least 20 years of age and either have a background in Security or a wealth of customer service experience. You will need to hold or be able to obtain a COA which involves passing a credit and criminal history check. Our busiest periods at SkyCity are weekends, so availability to work Friday and Saturday nights is essential. It would also help if you had some basic computer skills.
