Legal Executive

Details of the offer

Established in 2019, Apogee Legal has been embraced by the community and is growing fast to support the exciting opportunities being created in our region. To support our growth, we're looking for an experienced Legal Executive who is down to earth, passionate about the Eastern Bay, and who genuinely enjoys helping clients reach their goals.
About Apogee Legal
Named as one of New Zealand's fastest firms in 2024 by NZ Lawyer and proud to be the winner of Outstanding Small Business Award at the 2024 HEG EBoP Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards.
Apogee Legal is a modern firm specialising in business, property, Trusts, Wills and Estates. Our approach is to go beyond ensuring legal documents are in place to focus on our clients' goals – their apogee. By getting to know each client and understanding their real needs, we provide the advice, insights and tools to ensure their goals are met – now and as they move through each life stage. Our team is also dedicated to making the lawyer-client relationship warm and relatable, ensuring every client feels supported.
The role
With the strengths of the team around you, you will work collaboratively on projects to ensure the highest levels of client service.
We are seeking someone with:
3 + years as a legal executive – ideally with a focus on property, trusts, wills and estate administration (or at least one of these areas).
The ability to forge meaningful customer relationships as both a professional expert and a trusted friend.
Exceptional communication and organisational skills, as well as the flexibility to adapt to changing client needs.
Knowledge and understanding of our local community.
Above all, we're looking for someone with a team approach, a good sense of humour, a passion for the Whakatane and Eastern Bay, who can make the magic work for our clients.
Your Career Development
We provide a supportive environment with room for growth. You'll be involved in a variety of interesting work, as well as have the opportunity to carve out your own career pathway and develop niche areas of practice. Each team member has an individual development plan to support their strengths and aspirations.
A balanced approach to work
At Apogee Legal we value getting the most out of life. Although we pull together when needed, we don't believe long hours or stress should be a necessity in building a legal career. With flexible working arrangements and an understanding of the curveballs that life can bring, we aim to provide our team with real work-life balance.
We have a great team atmosphere, beautiful new offices and would love to introduce someone new into our fast-growing business.
