Te Turanga - The Role
Currently we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and innovative Secondary Processing Manager to join the team at the Alliance Mataura Plant.
The key duties of the role will include:
Working to achieve production, quality, yield and cost efficiency targets with planning of all processing requirements, department set-up, manning levels and ensuring operational readiness
Achieving and controlling the daily production throughput and ensure product complies with all product specifications
Implementing product and process controls, SOP's and driving all processing activities toward end results
Leading a strong team of processing managers, supervisors and workers

O pukenga - About You
You will come from a strong background in Production/Processing, with at least 5 years' experience within high-volume manufacturing, as well as:
A New Zealand recognised relevant tertiary qualification
Experience in planning, scheduling and coordinating production and manufacturing processes at a management level
Strong people management skills with the ability to lead by example
A passion and drive for managing processing operations
Have a high safety conscious approach to work.
High attention to detail
Basic computer skills
