About the Role
We are recruiting a seasonal Laboratory Technician to join the team in one of our Artificial Breeding Operational laboratories through the peak EU production season. No experience is needed - Full training will be provided.
Reporting to the EU SCC and Laboratory Manager, this role involves the processing and analysis of bovine semen, laboratory hygiene, data entry and stock control while working within critical quality and health and safety guidelines and EU export protocols.
This is a 5-month fixed-term position, from January 2025 through until approx. end of May 2025.
Days of work and hours may vary based on work availability, but you will be guaranteed a minimum of 40 hours per fortnight. We operate 5 days a week starting at 6:30am.
About You
We are seeking candidates who possess the below attributes:
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Able to follow standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines.
Punctual and dependable.
Adaptable and flexible.
Good communication.
A science background and/or laboratory experience is desirable but not essential.
