It's that time of the year again, the Department of Conservation's summer seasonal vacancies are now open! Our seasonal roles offer you the opportunity to immerse yourself in New Zealand's unique places and contribute to conservation in our backyard. Our seasonal roles are fixed term and have a variety of start dates from October through to December this year. Our roles are generally fixed term between four to nine months, working in some of New Zealand's picturesque landscapes. Nga haepapa | What to expect You will be supporting our high performing operations team across the country, play your part in supporting conservation this season. How? Make a difference for our amazing biodiversity. Trap pests, monitor wildlife, care for taonga species, help maintain DOC huts and amenities, tracks and campgrounds, or welcome visitors at our visitor centres. Be part of the solution!
