If you're ready to contribute to sustainable aquaculture innovations, apply today!What you will be doing | Nga whainga matuaIn this role, you will play a key role in advancing fish cell culture research, helping to develop innovative applications that enhance fish health and support sustainable aquaculture practices. You'll work hands-on with fish cell lines, contribute to data analysis, and explore new possibilities in cellular agriculture and alternative proteins. Your work will directly contribute to pioneering advancements in the aquaculture industry.Conduct research in fish cell biology, including cell isolation, culture, and characterization.Develop and test new applications for fish cell lines to address aquaculture challenges.Analyse experimental data, compile results, and independently evaluate findings.Prepare peer-reviewed publications, funding proposals, and client reports.Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and support R&D projects.To be successful in this role, you will have a PhD in molecular or cell biology (or related field) and hands-on experience in cell culture and advanced molecular techniques, including expertise with fish or vertebrate cell models. With a collaborative spirit and a commitment to sustainable aquaculture, you're ready to apply your analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to cutting-edge research.
