This role involves vegetation and forestry control around Ventia's transmission high voltage network and will work across the wider Marlborough region. The successful applicant will ensure a high level of safety is adhered to in order to protect the public, other team members, and themselves; therefore, a commitment to Health and Safety is essential.ABOUT YOUNZQF Level 4 qualification or an equivalent forestry diplomaA minimum of 3 years' experience working in a relevant industry (preferably in NZ)Experienced in the use of rigging and climbing equipment is advantageousPrevious experience or knowledge of working around HV or LV Transmission Lines is an advantageA strong health and safety focus is requiredFamiliarity with working around heavy plant and EWP equipmentA full and clean NZ Driver's license is required as a minimum; an HT license is preferred.
