Science - Head Of Learning

Westland High School located in spectacular Hokitika is seeking a talented and motivated head of learning area – science to join our dynamic team. Applicants should state their science specialisation and their ability to support the delivery of chemistry, biology, physics and horticulture. We welcome applications from New Zealand and overseas as we seek the very best candidate for this role.
The successful applicant must be a NZ registered teacher, have a passion for student success, be open to developing culturally responsive pedagogy and supporting Maori achieving success as Maori. As a PB4L school, experience with restorative practice is also considered an asset.
