Position Title: School Resource Deputy – Part Time
Salary Information: $38,480 annually
Benefit Information: On-call, temporary, and certain grant-funded positions are not eligible for employee benefits unless specified otherwise at the time of hire. Part-time positions working 0 – 19 hours per week are also not eligible for employee benefits.

Department Overview: The mission of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is to enhance public safety, reduce the fear and impact of crime, and improve quality of life. The department consists of 32 certified patrol deputies and 31 corrections deputies.

Age: 21
US Citizen: Yes
High School Grad/GED: Yes
Driver's License: Valid state driver's license required
Ability to Read/Speak English: Yes
Vision: Must meet the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) requirements as detailed in Oregon Administrative Rules 259-008
College: Not required
Academy Certification: Must be Oregon DPSST Certified or hold an equivalent Out of State/Federal Certification
Prior Experience: Ideal candidates are retired law enforcement officers (LEOs) or current LEOs seeking part-time work
Necessary Certifications: Oregon DPSST or Out of State/Federal Certification
