If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L) Schoolwide Practitioner in the Tai Tokerau region.PB4L initiatives help parents, whanau, teachers, early childhood centres and schools to address behaviour, improve children's wellbeing, and increase educational achievement. By strengthening relationships and creating more positive home and school environments, we remove barriers to engagement and improve students' chances to achieve at school and beyond.To be successful in this role, you will need to have:a tertiary qualification in education, psychology or other appropriate discipline relevant to the focus of the position (e.g. Special Education)experience working and leading in English medium or Kura Kaupapa Maori environmentsconfident presentation and facilitation skillsproven capability in facilitating change through building and maintaining functional relationshipsthe ability to work effectively alongside schools and educators to develop systems and practices that foster safe and inclusive environments in a culturally responsive waya good understanding of the PB4L programme and connection with wider learning supporta full driver's licence as travel will be required.fluency in Te Reo me tikanga Maori would be an asset, but this is not essential.For more information on this position, please read through the job description.The location of this role could be based at either of the Kerikeri or Kaitaia offices in the Tai Tokerau region, offering a fantastic lifestyle and work-life balance opportunity in one of New Zealand's most stunning and diverse regions.
