Lincoln County Sheriff's Office 225 West Olive Street Newport, Oregon 97365 541-265-0681 Position Title: School Resource Deputy – Part Time Salary Information: $38,480 annually Benefit Information: On-call, temporary, and certain grant-funded positions are not eligible for employee benefits unless specified otherwise at the time of hire.
Part-time positions working 0 – 19 hours per week are also not eligible for employee benefits.

The department consists of 32 certified patrol deputies and 31 corrections deputies.
Area Information: Location: Lincoln County, Oregon (Central Oregon Coast) Population: 40,000 Job Requirements: Age: 21 US Citizen: Yes High School Grad/GED: Yes Driver's License: Valid state driver's license required Ability to Read/Speak English: Yes Vision: Must meet the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) requirements as detailed in Oregon Administrative Rules 259-008 College: Not required Academy Certification: Must be Oregon DPSST Certified or hold an equivalent Out of State/Federal Certification Prior Experience: Ideal candidates are retired law enforcement officers (LEOs) or current LEOs seeking part-time work Necessary Certifications: Oregon DPSST or Out of State/Federal Certification Hiring Process: No National Testing Network (NTN) testing is required for this position.
