Schedulers play a key role in getting people in prison into rehabilitative programmes, education, employment, and training. They support all internal and external stakeholders in ensuring the 'best fit' is achieved by balancing the needs of the individuals with the number of activity placements available.
Through the monitoring of waitlists and timely handling of referrals, your flexibility to respond to the ever-changing needs of people in prison will be paramount to their success and yours.
Updating and maintaining data in key systems is a core part of this role, as is liaising with other departments to ensure opportunities are maximised and offender plans are managed effectively.
We are looking for someone who loves processes and procedures. You will have advanced Excel skills and be able to easily learn new programmes and systems.
It is essential to have excellent time management skills and a good sense of humour!
