Scheduler

We are on an exciting journey within our Logistics team, optimising how we do things. Due to an internal promotion, we have an opportunity for a?Scheduler?to join us on this journey and make a real impact to the business and our customers. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day transport scheduling, enabling a timely and accurate daily transportation plan which optimises service, cost, quality, and safety. Some of your key responsibilities include: Lead the management of daily operational levels in relationships with your key transport suppliers Establish, optimise and closeout your daily transport schedule in a timely manner for all your customer delivery orders Ensure all orders in your daily transport plan are executed in accordance with the system prerequisites necessary to ensure on time customer delivery Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders Identify and implement Continuous Improvement opportunities Key to your success will be: A deep understanding of transport planning systems preferred Proven ability to establish effective working relationships Strong business partnering skillset Learning agility with a problem-solving mindset Good analytical and reporting skills Strong understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite System savvy with SAP experience advantageous This an exciting opportunity to really make an impact on the way we do things.
