Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Maori, The arts We welcome applicants interested in joining our committed, collaborative team at Kaikohe East School.
We are offering three Scale A teacher positions, two permanent and one-year fixed-term due to a teacher on leave.
All positions start Term 1 2025.
We are seeking three teachers, probably one for junior, one senior and one bilingual classes.
These positions would suit teachers who can build strong relationships with tamariki, staff, Board of Trustees, and community, who are collaborative and can deliver engaging classroom programmes that reflect the needs of our predominantly Maori akonga.
Ideally, successful candidates will have some experience in one or all of the following: Relationships First, Structured Literacy,Te Reo Maori me nga tikanga, problem-solving Maths and a connection to Tai Tokerau, more specifically Kaikohe to action a localised curriculum.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the Primary Teachers' Collective Agreement.
