Scale A Teacher

Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 27/01/2025, End Date: 16/12/2025 (BOT funded)
Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher

Subjects: English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te Reo Maori, The Arts

We are looking for an outstanding teacher to work in a class in the junior area of our school (Y1-3). You need to demonstrate highly effective teaching pedagogy, be committed to working collaboratively with a team of amazing teachers, and prioritize building positive and supportive relationships with children, parents, whanau, and staff.
We want someone who is open to new learning and feedback about their practice and willing to try new things to make a difference for all children in our school.
We are a culturally diverse school, and experience working with children and parents who have English as a second language is an advantage.
We use the BSLA literacy approach in Y1–3, and you would need to undertake the BSLA training if successful.
