We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a junior secondary (Y10) science teacher starting 28 January 2025.
Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Y1-13 students. Our staff are supportive and collaborative, and our work is inspired by love/aroha, heartened by faith/whakapono in Jesus Christ, and motivated by gospel hope/tumanako.
About the job
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Effectively engaging with and teaching primary school students
Contributing to the school's academic process/achievement
Relating well/being culturally responsive to a diverse range of students/staff.
The successful applicant will
Be able to teach Te Reo Maori to Y1-6 students
Have an affinity for Te Ao Maori
Support our Kaiarahi to inspire and support teachers to develop professionally in Te Reo Maori and in their understanding of Te Ao Maori
Be a nurturing, passionate educator
Have NZ Curriculum knowledge
Enjoy working collaboratively
Enjoy partnering with parents.
