Kawakawa Primary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated junior teacher to join our supportive, student-focused kura. We are looking for an innovative and creative teacher who is committed to helping every learner reach their full potential in our New Entrant class.

We are looking for someone who:
Is an experienced junior teacher, living in New Zealand
Is a team player who injects energy and passion into the classroom and kura
Has a deep understanding of the NZ Curriculum
Is culturally responsive and values relationships
Demonstrates strong positive behavioural classroom management
Has experience in the Better Start Literacy Approach or is willing to complete professional development to deliver this program effectively
Understands the varying needs of students, with strategies that build success and confidence in their learning and social skills
