We are looking for a permanent kaiako to teach a Y4/5 class, who is passionate about the Structured Literacy approach (The Code) and Tiriti-based practice for the 2025 school year.Te Uru Karaka Newton Central School is set in the inner city, surrounded by native trees with a forest running through the school. Our kura provides three pathways: Te Puawaitanga (English Medium), Awahou (Dual Immersion), and Te Uru Karaka (Maori Medium).
