In this role, reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will oversee an established client base in the Hawkes Bay region. With consistent growth opportunities in the area, there is room to secure new business within the construction and architectural sectors. The product range focuses on new and developing technologies, making a technical sales background advantageous. However, we are open to candidates with a robust business development background, coupled with the ability to acquire the necessary technical knowledge over time.
The preferred candidate will boast a proven track record in business development and sales, approaching relationship management strategically. While a background in the architectural and construction sectors is beneficial, emphasis is placed on efficiently executing consistent sales activities and innovative thinking to identify and close new opportunities. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, possess strong planning disciplines, demonstrate proactive approaches, and showcase professional presentation and communication skills. Collaboration within a sales team that goes the extra mile to deliver customer solutions is a key aspect of this role.
