Sales Support - Manufacturing

The Role Reporting directly to the Sales Manager based in Head Office in Mangere. This is a critical role, being the first point of contact for the customer enquiries. Your role will be to manage the initial enquiry and follow the sales process through to completion and everything in between. Given the nature of the business, they supply New Zealand wide, so you will be dealing contractors and staff to ensure the smooth delivery of Skylight and Window solutions. The role is broken down into three key areas, Sales Support, Logistics/Production and Administration Support. 
Responsibilities Manage all incoming sales enquires and follow up to ensure all leads are maximisedFirst point of contact for all customer enquires both via email & phone.Keying in all orders, managing customer account enquires, Database management and general administration takes relating to the sales team.Provide support to the technical representatives, helping prepare shipping quotes, tenders and other documentsManage all Work In Progress orders, updating contractors regularly to ensure project delivery and product delivery times align.Coordination of deliveries with clients and install teamSkills & Experience Must have proven experience in a sales support position combined with strong customer service and administrative experience.Previous experience working with the building/construction sector would also be considered helpfulStrong communication skills, with an excellent phone manner. Can manage multiple tasks at any given timeComfortable in a trades-based environment, with a great sense of humour and excellent work ethic.Possess the desire to develop a long-term career in sales.Company, Culture & Reward With a low turnover of staff, and over 30 years' experience suppling the construction market this family-owned company displays a strong company culture that values the work-life balance of every employee.
